MBSR graduates inspired to commit to regular group practice in a simplified Zen style may join Ocean Sangha.
In addition to sitting meditation, we work with contemporary and traditional texts, poetry, and Western psychological exercises to enhance our understanding of meditation and its applications to daily life.
Sangha is a Sanskrit word that means ‘people who practice together.’
Ocean Sangha is a membership-based practice group led by David Weinberg for people who wish to develop and sustain their meditation practice in a group setting over the long term. Membership includes retreats and one-on-one guidance from the teacher. Members pay a regular monthly fee. StressCare and Ocean Sangha are unaffiliated sister organizations.
Build a whole-life practice with a group of dedicated people.
Ocean Sangha meets every Monday evening except holidays, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
at Aurora School, 40 Dulwich Road, Oakland. Aurora School Map
