Dedicate a December morning for meditation, stillness, and mutual support this holiday season.
Holiday Renewal is a way for you to relax your body and mind, while recognizing the spirit and challenges of the season. Join fellow alumni and StressCare teachers Karin and David in a one-time 3-hour refresher this December.
There will be time for silent and guided meditation, group exercises, and shared tea.
Holiday Renewal will include
- Reflection on the themes of the season, and perspectives from the wisdom traditions
- Inquiry into the challenges of the season
- Guided and silent meditation
- Gentlest yoga for calming and ease
- Sharing tea
Themes for this class
- Generosity towards self and others
- The need for meaning
- Finding our way amidst conflicting demands, inner and outer
- Trusting in our capacity for peace and joy
Holiday Renewal is for returning grads, and also appropriate for brand-new participants. You can invite family members, partners and friends (teen or adult) to enroll in this class too.
