Since 1996, more than 2000 people have completed the StressCare 8-Week Course and achieved significant relief. Early registration is recommended due to limited space.
Who takes the 8-Week Course?
People like you who may be experiencing any of the following:
- High levels of stress due to work, relationships, death of a loved one, aging, and other causes
- Anxiety, panic, and depression
- Chronic pain such as back pain, migraine headaches, GI distress, fibromyalgia
- Insomnia
- Heart problems, high blood pressure
- Progressive diseases such as MS and Parkinson’s
- Cancer, HIV/AIDS, and other life-threatening illnesses
- Physical injury, limitations and disabilities
- Men and women aged 20-80 from all walks of life
What can you expect in an 8-Week Course?
StressCare’s 8-Week Course consists of an orientation meeting, eight weekly classes and a day-long retreat. There are daily assignments to be done at home between classes.
Each class includes instruction, small and large-group exercises, and group discussion in a compassionate atmosphere. All necessary instructional materials are included.

Important note for course participants
Our teachers are highly skilled, long-term mindfulness practitioners and educators. Our methods in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) complement medical treatments, psychotherapy, bodywork and physical therapy.
At StressCare we do not provide medical treatment or psychotherapy of any kind. Please seek the assistance of a physician or healer of your choice for your medical care.
