David has practiced Zen meditation since 1978 and
received his clinical training in stress reduction
at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center

Pfluger, B.Arch., teaches the StressCare eight-week
course offered on Wednesday mornings at Alta Bates
in Berkeley. Karin has practiced Zen meditation and
yoga since 1997, and trained as a stress reduction
teacher in the teacher development program of the
University of Massachusetts Medical Center and as
an intern in StressCare. She is a mother and a licensed
architect. |

and former Chief of Medicine at Alta Bates Summit
Medical Center, Berkeley, California. Jack practices
meditation regularly and recommends this form of stress
reduction to many of his patients and fellow caregivers.
